About the Role:
As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. You'll oversee all aspects of estimating, from forecasting project costs and revenues to coordinating with various teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise project revenue and cost forecasting to achieve corporate profitability goals.
- Collaborate with Superintendents to establish project budgets and timelines.
- Lead estimating efforts on integrated projects to ensure a smooth bid-to-build process.
- Work closely with project sponsors and managers to align resources with the project schedule.
- Foster strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and inspectors to maintain long-term partnerships.
- Ensure consistent and accurate job reports to drive performance improvement across the team.
- Ensure efficient communication between foremen, superintendents, and construction managers for timely and safe project completion.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in construction estimating, preferably in paving, underground, concrete, and grading.
- Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a high-production environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available to handle emergencies or delays outside of regular working hours.
- Communication: Excellent supervisory and communication skills to maintain project flow and address issues proactively.
