Position Description: As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will create high-quality, cross-platform designs that elevate our clients’ brands and deliver creative impact. You’ll work on brand identity projects, advertising campaigns, and a variety of marketing materials, including digital assets, packaging, and point-of-sale visuals. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll push creative boundaries while maintaining alignment with brand guidelines. This role requires strong design skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to support and guide junior team members, ensuring every project meets high standards for creativity and innovation.
Primary Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities
- Partner with creative teams to produce exceptional, innovative work that aligns with client goals and creative briefs.
- Uphold and elevate client brand standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency across all deliverables.
- Push creative boundaries while maintaining adherence to established brand strategies and creative direction.
- Work closely with creative directors to achieve project goals.
- Provide senior-level design expertise across brand/advertising, experiential, strategy, and digital marketing projects.
- Represent the creative team in internal and client-facing meetings, contributing to presentations and discussions as a team member.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior designers and cross-functional teams to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Stay informed on emerging design trends, interactive technologies, and marketing strategies, sharing insights to inspire team growth.
Key Areas of Execution
Create high-quality, cross-platform design solutions, including:
- Digital Marketing Materials: Website graphics, email designs, social media assets, and other digital deliverables.
- Traditional Marketing Materials: Outdoor boards, brochures, video storyboards, and print materials.
- Experiential Designs: Displays, packaging art, trade show visuals, and other event-related creative.
- Brand Identity Development: Logo design, comprehensive brand guidelines, and related identity assets.
- Creative Campaigns: Multi-channel advertising concepts that align with client brand strategies and objectives.
- Internal Design Support: Agency promotional materials, including pitch decks, blog content, and social media visuals.
Essential Skills - Strong graphic design and production skills with deep experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Acrobat) and Google Apps. Figma is a bonus.
- Advanced understanding of design fundamentals, including layout, color theory, and typography.
- Ability to receive and incorporate feedback effectively while mentoring junior team members.
- Exceptional multitasking skills with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple high-stakes projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, across all levels of the organization.
- A collaborative mindset combined with professionalism, organization, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
- Adept at adapting to shifting priorities and new technologies, leading teams through change with confidence.
- Unwavering reliability in meeting deadlines and adhering to financial and/or hours budgets.

Benefits Quarterly Bonus Schedule:
Bonus Schedule based on billable hours* worked per week, averaged over 3 months. Bonus will be paid out at the end of each fiscal quarter and reset at the beginning of the period.

Three (3) paid service days may be taken throughout the year to be used for community volunteer work.
Wellness Days:
Paid wellness days may be taken throughout the year (with manager approval) as needed to reduce stress.
Summer Hours:
For the months of June, July, and August, Simon/Myers observes Summer Hours. During Summer Hours, Friday workdays ends at noon, so long as project demands allow.
Holiday Schedule:
New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve
Retirement Plan:
Eligibility for the company retirement plan occurs in the following calendar year after which $5,000 in compensation has been paid. Simon/Myers matches the first 3%.
Health and Dental Insurance:
New employees are eligible for health insurance on the 1st calendar day following one full month of employment. Simon/Myers pays 50% of premiums for both employees and their dependents.
Working Hours:
Official business hours are from 8:00 – 5:00. Start and finish times are flexible. Working additional hours during the week is expected as the nature of our business. Occasional weekend work is necessary as well. Arrival after 10:00 am is considered a half day, unless approved in advance.
Performance Reviews:
At approximately 30, 60, and 90 days, a performance review will be held to evaluate performance in relation to expectation and goals stated above. Annual reviews will be held to evaluate performance and set new goals for the following year. Salary adjustments will be reviewed at this meeting as well.
