POSITION SUMMARY
Buddha Jewelry is seeking a highly motivated Inventory Coordinator to join our team and support the physical inventory processes, as well as related systems and data. This role plays a key part in driving optimal inventory processes and controls that contribute to superior customer experiences and sales across all channels — including Buddha Jewelry wholesale (US, UK, and EU), retail (US), and our sister company RION Jewelry (in-store and online). The ideal candidate will understand the direct link between inventory accuracy and exceptional customer service, working to achieve optimal inventory control and ensuring product availability for all sales channels. The Inventory Coordinator will support inventory counts for both Buddha Jewelry and RION Jewelry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General & Departmental Collaborations:

- Seek to provide answers to questions about inventory in a thorough and timely manner.
- Build fruitful and reliable relationships with all vendors.
- Support the department head to preserve and protect accurate technical and product data stored across all accessible databases.
Physical Product:
- Continuously and comprehensively learn our ever-growing catalog of products – function, materials, and care.
- Learn + maintain fluency in Quality Control (QC) standards and expectations from the Production Team and be able to identify any potential QC issues.
- Track and monitor stock movements in order to ensure order, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Audit individual product information tags to be sure all details are correct and have consistent information available for internal and external customer purposes. Report any potential issues to Production Team.
Controls & Counts:
- Support maximum inventory control and maintain a comprehension + appreciation for these controls that will benefit the customer and sales experience.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts across all channels.
- Participate in recurring meetings related to the Inventory Department.
Systems:
- Help to maintain accurate and up-to-date product lists, details and status in all databases.
- Learn naming conventions and item set up requirements to create new items. Consistency is paramount for shopability (customers) and usability (internal teams).
- Pull insightful data and reports to drive and/or discover inventory related trends - sales & sell through, allocations, and shrinkage (also reorder points and merchandising at RION Jewelry).
- Analyze inventory related data with a focus on forecasting needs, identifying trends, and recommending adjustments to allocations or stock levels.
RION Jewelry:
- Support monitoring inventory levels and communicate with Studio regularly on needs to prevent stockouts in-store and online.
- Coordinate priority access to all new Buddha Jewelry collections for RION Jewelry store, coinciding with priority fulfillment.
- Consistently audit delivered product to ensure it meets expectations and standards.
- Support the department head to facilitate orders with new jewelry vendors; track delivery dates, and inform/prepare Studio and systems for incoming jewelry.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- High level of attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy of work product, and the ability to maintain maximum organization - product, self, and department.
- Critical thinker with attention to detail and accuracy, very organized
- Enjoy research and finding the root cause of any issue in effort to find the best resolution for it
- Ability to analyze Inventory processes from both a micro and macro perspective
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in data dealing that includes auditing for accuracy and timely execution
- Highly receptive to giving and receiving feedback for the betterment of the teams and individuals
- Tech-savvy, proven competence with Inventory Management Systems, as well as Excel and/or Google Sheets to compile, organize, and analyze data
- Excellent time management skills, and the ability to maintain high levels of productivity autonomously and as part of a team
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- The ability to travel between our office in Seattle and our studio in Kirkland (about once per week)
