Position Summary: This dual role of Planner and Buyer will be responsible for both raw material planning and purchasing. This person will be responsible for performing forecasting activities including creating, and maintaining forecast models for the factory and products, managing SIOP activities as well as coordinating with sales, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing. This person will be the sole point of contact for negotiating and creating purchasing orders and coordinating with key factory personnel to maintain adequate supplies, while maintaining detailed documentation of all purchases.

Job Responsibilities:
· Assist the factory and supply chain team in reducing cost and risk
· Negotiate, create and Track purchase orders and ensure the ERP system has the most updated delivery date information.
· Compiling reports on product and vendor performance and running daily reports for factory KPI tracking
· Track current inventory, order points and order quantities.
· Work with operations scheduling to ensure items that are needed for production are in stock or will arrive before they are needed.
· Own accurate rolling 12 months demand forecasts for manufactured finished goods and communicate changes to team.
· Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to lead regular Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings with cross-functional team.
· Interact and Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to understand demand forecast drivers
· Develop processes to implement and improve forecast accuracy, increase collaboration with internal and external partners, and ensure that the translation of demand into the supply-planning process works seamlessly.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field required. MBA a plus.
- Minimum of 3-years of experience in demand planning and forecasting and buying
- Strong knowledge of demand planning processes and concepts
- Experience with Statistical Models (experience with Infor Demand+ preferred)
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships within the organization to gain support and achieve results
- Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload and achieve deadlines based upon changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze, synthesize, and report on large volumes of information
- Proven experience to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations of limited standardization
- Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
