Our client continues to experience tremendous growth within their Commercial Insurance – Middle Market Division. This growth has created a need to add a Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager. This person would be responsible for overseeing a team of Middle Market Production Underwriters which includes: managing and leading a team of underwriting professional to execute on the growth strategy, profitability, and retention. Build and maintain broker/agency relationships while delivering high level expectations for the entire territory. This person can work out of any one of our client's regional office.

• Lines of business include: Commercial Property, General Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Package, and Umbrella/Excess.
• Manage the execution of underwriting strategies and hold the team accountable for implementation.
• Support/collaborate on region sales and marketing initiatives, assisting with new product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Educate agents on products, services, as well as underwriting strategies and product marketing.
• Ability to successfully negotiate on all levels with both internal and external partners and nurture key producer relations.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Underwriting Experience
• 1+ years of Underwriting Leadership experience, preferred
• Loss control/Risk services knowledge, understanding concepts, practices, terms is a plus.
• Proven track record of building strong business relationships with agents and insureds
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and business acumen
• Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred

Salary/Benefits:

• $150,000 to $190,000+ annual base salary plus 15-30% Cash Bonus
