In this role, your practice will focus on regulatory compliance, navigating complex healthcare laws, and providing litigation and contract drafting/review support, helping us continue to deliver outstanding services.

Position Overview

As an Assistant General Counsel, you’ll play a critical role in managing our legal and regulatory compliance functions. This position will provide counsel on litigation matters, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and handle contract drafting/review to support our operations. You’ll report to the President/General Counsel at DirectRx and will work collaboratively with internal teams to identify legal solutions, manage risk, and protect DirectRx’s interests.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee regulatory compliance in healthcare, staying up to date on relevant regulations and advising teams on potential impacts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and legal standards.
• Provide litigation support, assisting with case preparation, managing documents, and coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support business objectives and address legal issues.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies that ensure regulatory adherence and minimize legal risks.
• Advise internal teams on operational matters to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel to optimize resources and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
