In this context we are looking for a Solution Consulting Director in the domain of digital manufacturing and PLM who can provide thought leadership, technology roadmap development, process consulting level partnership to customers from a technical and functional perspective.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Possess experience in implementing and solutioning a range of projects in Automotive & Aerospace industry including – MES/MOM, Digital Mfg Product/Digital Engineering, Cloud & Industrial IOT .
• Demonstrate understanding of the Aerospace design & manufacturing value chain and how the different phases work together to form an ecosystem-based approach.
• High level expertise in new product Development processes and Manufacturing standards like ISA and MESA.
• Experience with known system used in the industry like MES Systems (SIEMENS OpC, Critical Mfg, Rockwell Factory Talk, PTC ThingWorx and Dassault Apriso).
• Knowledge of Integration to Business Systems like SAP, Oracle and Devices and Instrumentations like Kepware is a major plus. Experience with integration tools like TIBCO, MuleSoft and BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI is a plus.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes like Foundry, Forging, Machining, Assembly, Paint Shop etc.
• Familiarity with Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering concepts like Critical Path, Manufacturing Planning, Scheduling, Material Management, BOM, Inventory Mgmt etc.
• Experience in Project Management & Sizing and Driving complex Digital transformation programs.
• Drive thought leadership to help address customer business challenges by liaising effectively with various solution and practice teams internally, to bring timely solutions to the customers.
• Work in close collaboration with HCLTECH’ presales team & delivery teams to ensure that proposed offerings and services fully meet customers’ business and technology needs.

Candidate profile:

The candidate should have the following skills:

• Bachelors / masters in Engineering preferably in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engg. MBA is preferred.
• 15-20 years’ experience in selling and leading complex and transformation programs
• Demonstratable understanding of Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 Suppliers and Aerospace manufacturers.
• Exhibit strong First-hand experience in MES/MOM systems like Applied Materials, Rockwell Software, Critical Mfg, SIEMENS etc.
• Understanding of IOT, Cloud, PLM and ERP would be an added advantage.
• Proven track record in Plant Automation, Robotics, Quality etc. is a plus
• Hands-on experience with proposal creation, leading proposal presentations, Complex pricing and Contracting
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
• Track record of interacting and building relationship with C-level client contacts.
• Good Understanding of the manufacturing value chain and how the separate phases work together to form an ecosystem-based approach
