Key Responsibilities:

Team Management and Leadership: Oversee the operations and management of the legal team, including the distribution of work among team members and monitoring their progress.

Establishing a Legal Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to address legal issues for the company and its clients.

General Management of Litigation and Advisory Affairs: Handle complex legal issues, including significant litigation and legal advisory work.

Client Management: Present solutions for clients’ legal needs, attract new clients, and strengthen existing relationships.

Legal Risk Management: Provide strategic guidance for identifying and preventing legal risks and potential disputes.

Reviewing Legal Documents: Review and prepare key legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and legal opinions.

Legal Team Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor team members to enhance their legal knowledge and support career development.

Cooperation with External Counsel: Collaborate with external experts and advisory attorneys on negotiations and other matters.

Analysis of Legal Trends: Continuously analyze and report on the latest laws, regulations, and case trends.


Qualification Requirements:

Eligibility: Current member in good standing with the New York State Bar.

Educational Background: JD or equivalent.

Career: Minimum of 7 years of experience as a lawyer, with at least 3 years in law firm management.

Management Skills: Team management and operational experience, with strong task prioritization and problem-solving skills.

Legal Expertise: Practical experience in various fields, such as civil law (including family law and personal injury cases), immigration, commercial law, labor law, intellectual property rights, etc.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both with clients and team members.

Other Qualities: Strategic thinking, high level of responsibility, and integrity.

Carrying out civil and criminal litigation.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Large Law Firms or Corporate Legal Teams: Experience working in major law firms or on corporate legal teams is preferred.

Foreign Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English and additional foreign languages to support foreign clients and multinational legal cases.

Ability to Leverage Legal Tech: Experience using advanced legal software and data analytics tools.

Experience in Legal Seminars and Academic Presentations: Experience conducting legal seminars and delivering academic presentations is an asset.

Experience in litigation in civil and criminal fields.
