Supply Chain Planning Manager - Siloam Springs, AR (Relocation Provided)


We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead Production Planning, Master Scheduling, Purchasing/Procurement with 3 direct reports and multiple indirect reports in a 500+ employee manufacturing operation. The manufacturing process has 500+ SKUs that has to go through 2+ processes before being completed.


Compensation : $120,000 - $130,000 base salary + 10% Bonus. Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, PTO.


Relocation will be offered for candidates moving: $35,000 for Owners and $15,000 for renters.


Day-to-day:

Meeting with production operations teams to understand raw material issues

Inventory optimization

Production scheduling

Bringing different departments together to meet business objectives and customer needs

Keep a pulse on several different things/areas

Manage material flow


Responsibilities :

  • Policy Development: Assist in creating policies, procedures, and objectives for procuring goods and services for the organization.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Provide empathetic leadership, coaching, and guidance to supervisors, fostering their development and success.
  • Procurement: Purchase all materials and supplies required by the manufacturer.
  • Quality and Cost Management: Oversee the purchasing of materials and supplies, ensuring quality standards are maintained while meeting cost and delivery goals.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain balanced inventory levels within plant guidelines, emphasizing cooperation and alignment with team goals.
  • Customer Service: Provide products and services to global customers and clients, ensuring proper application selection.
  • Operational Support: Provide support in functional areas of shipping, receiving, and product control.
  • Documentation: Process documents through internal systems.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (8 years’ experience) with 7 years of specific experience.
  • Relationship Building: Must establish and maintain internal relationships and contacts, and be aware of key external contacts who can provide valuable assistance.
  • Adaptability: Enthusiastic to learn new service-related functions and adapt quickly.
  • Communication Skills: Communicates effectively, with a particular talent for persuasive, collaborative oral communication.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Needs a high degree of mechanical aptitude.
  • Matrix Environment: Demonstrate the ability to function well in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of applicable computer systems, such as the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Working knowledge of lean manufacturing required; experience managing a workforce through lean implementation is a plus.
