Certification Details BLS ACLS TNCC NIH Stroke Certification Job Details ICU SURGICAL RN Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements). Orientation for this unit will be held bi-weekly on Mondays. Shift: 3x12 Nights (1900-0730) Ratios: 1:2 Years of Experience REQ: Minimum one year Required: Critical Care Experience. Management of ventriculostomy, EVD, and ICP. Nursing care of patients with non-traumatic ICH, non-traumatic SAH, seizures. Nursing care of patients post tPA, thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, carotid artery stenting and intra-cranial stenting. Management of blood pressure abnormalities with parenteral vasoactive agents. Completion of complex neurological assessments/scales. Would like CV or Neuro experience. Epic Experience REQ? 1 year of Epic experience is required. First-Timers Accepted: I am looking for a trained nurse with experience. Would prefer an experienced traveler with 2-3 prior completed assignments. Weekend REQ: Must be open to working any and all days. Job Requirements Required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIHSS Preferred: CCRN, CSC, SCRN and TCRN. Must have CVICU, SICU, or Neuro ICU in work history. Valid state licensure/certification as required for services being performed. Schedule Information 36 guaranteed hours per week Travelers float between SICU and MICU. Also float to Telemetry, Acute Care (neurology, Surgical, Ortho/Med) Obs, ED boarding. MUST BE OK WITH FLOATING Unit Specific Information Common Equipment: Ventric, Bolts, Pa Catheters, right and left Impella, Cheeta, CRRT, IABP, and Zoll cooling catheter. Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: CABG, level 2 Trauma, ELVO, Donor, Neurosurgery, MI, Acute Stroke, Post cardiac arrest, Post surgical care. Additional Details Must sign SS verification release.
