Join our team for a 13-week assignment with the opportunity to work every other weekend, totaling 36 hours per week. Our Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ED) operates separately from the Main ED, providing specialized care for our young patients. You may also care for holding patients.
We require candidates with previous Peds ED experience. Proficiency in ventilator management is preferred, as is experience in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), with the possibility of floating between PICU and Peds. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:5, which will be confirmed with the traveler.
Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with a minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience. We welcome first-time travelers to apply. Please note that the scrub color for this position is navy blue.
