Job Description

We seek an experienced Customer Success Manager (think of it as a customer goal coach) with a deep understanding of supporting customers in a Software as a Service environment. Our customers are leadership teams in publicly funded/publicly accountable organizations (local governments, school districts, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build meaningful relationships with Envisio’s customers through engaging emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
  2. Partner with Implementation Consultants to ensure a seamless transition from our Implementation to Post Implementation Stages.
  3. Partner with customers to develop meaningful plans that feed their long-term goals.
  4. Develop creative strategies to increase customer engagement, drive growth, and reduce churn.
  5. Manage key metrics that feed into team-based goals around retention, growth, and adoption.
  6. Measure and action on engagement data through customer metrics and regular business reviews.
  7. Work with the Product Teams to champion customer insights and stories.
  8. Share Customer Success stories through case studies, blog posts, and internal communication.

Key Performance Measures:

  1. Quarterly and annual gross customer revenue retention.
  2. Software adoption and customer satisfaction/health.

About You:

You are fun, enthusiastic, and eager for a role where your work makes a difference in the lives of others. You are a proactive relationship builder with a proven ability to cultivate deep and meaningful relationships with your teams and clients. You’re not afraid to talk, but your real skill is listening.

  1. 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role for a SaaS company.
  2. Experience in any of the following: Customer Success, Account Management/Sales, Consulting, Product Training.
  3. You have a passion for public service.
  4. Impeccable written and oral communication skills; you’re talking to our customers.
  5. Extremely analytical; you leverage data in all of your decision-making.
  6. Highly organized; your calendar reminders have calendar reminders.
  7. Results-oriented; you always have your next goal in mind, and a plan to get there.
