New Job Details
Location: Central GA
Duration: October March (potential for extension)
Schedule: 5-10 shifts per month
Shift: 7a-7p
Call: TBD, might be night call
Patient volume: 7.2 and ICU avg census of 4.2 with 97 admissions and 60 observations for the month
Scope: Rounding and admitting on the med/surg floor
>must be able to run codes and manage the vents in the step down unit
>Procedures optional paracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, intubations, and thoracentesis.
Hospital: Level IV trauma center
12 medsurg beds and 6 ICU beds (that are really more of a stepdown unit)
Group/support: 1 midlevel present, critical care telemedicine
Requirements (boards, license): Ideally IM trained, but will consider FP. BC w/Georgia or Compact license
