Bilingual English/Spanish required.nn$16.50 - $18.75 DOE for MA.nn$18.50 - $20.75 DOE for CMA.nn$21.50 - $24.50 DOE for LPN.nnEmployee's can receive up to $520 on the quarterly bonus.nnThere is a $500 referral bonus for this position that will be paid out after 6 months of employment have been completed. There is also a $500 sign-on bonus for the employee that will be paid out after 1040 hours are worked and 6 months of employment have been completed.nnRequirementsnnMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:nnGraduate of an accredited LPN, Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program. CPR certification.nnKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:nnKnowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.nnKnowledge of clinical and/or surgical operations and documentation.nnSkill in performing clinical and medical procedures.nnKnowledge of patient evaluation and triage procedures.nnAbility to safely lift, and physically manipulate patients.nnAbility to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.nnAbility to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.nnKnowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.nnKnowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids.nnAbility to educate patients and/or families as to the nature of disease and to provide instruction on proper care and treatment.nnKnowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.nnAbility to prepare and process laboratory samples using established protocols.nnAbility to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.nnDESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:nn1. Schedules and coordinates paperwork for patient/doctor appointments and surgeries.nn2. Assists doctors, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, and registered nurses with examinations, treatments, special tests, and procedures.nn3. Performs patient triage.nn4. Enters nursing charges into billing database.nn5. Reviews patient charts, checks patients in, obtains and records patients' weight, blood pressure, urine samples, blood samples, and medical history, and assesses reasons for patient visits.nn6. Records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patients' conditions.nn7. Administers medications; applies sterile dressings.nn8. Participates in in-service education programs as required by agency.nn9. Maintains records for immunizations and other abnormal lab results as required.nn10. Maintains and stocks inventory of office and/or clinical supplies, as appropriate to the position.nn11. Educates patients regarding health-related issues.nn12. Coordinates labeling, delivery, and receipt of laboratory specimens and results; provides information and coordinates follow-up visits regarding laboratory results.nn13. Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.nn14.
