Practicing Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of New Mexico means holistic work toimprove outcomes for pregnant and postpartum people in this state. We provide care both locally and in outreachclinics that primarily partner with Indian Health Services and Tribalhospitals. We are clinical teachers ofstudents, residents and fellows. We leadresearch that is clinically significant to our patients with respect to healthinequities. Our work ismultidisciplinary as our patient's outcomes hinge not only on excellentclinical care but navigation of complex health related social needs.

open rank, open track full-time Faculty position inMaternal Fetal Medicine. UNM'sMaternal Fetal Medicine Division has an established fellowship, has a busyclinical practice, is active in research and education, and is building aninnovative partnership with flight medicine to improve outcomes for pregnantand postpartum persons who are transported from rural areas and maternal healthcare deserts.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Eligible towork in the United States
- M.D. or D.O.degree or equivalent
- Board certifiedor eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology withSubspecialty Boarded Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Completion of aFellowship or advanced training in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Eligible formedical licensure in NM, State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification,and federal DEA registration
Preferred Qualifications: - Experienceteaching students and residents
- Clinical skillsand scholarly activity
- Experienceworking within a managed care environment
- Experienceworking in a multidisciplinary environment
- Experience orinterest in research activity and career development
- A demonstratedcommitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well asworking with broadly diverse communities
