Department/Unit: Children's Hosp Float Pool

The Pediatric Float Pool Nurse contributes to creating a compassionate and caring environment for pediatric patients by providing kindness, active listening and high-quality nursing care. Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and procedures, and collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients. Additionally, the nurse will assess and evaluate patient needs, provide primary and emergency care, and maintain professional nursing standards.
