About the unitnnThe emergency department at Ludington Hospital features sixteen state-of-the-art treatment areas, including two trauma rooms. We are able to provide prompt assessment, resuscitation, intensive care and stabilization of injured patients and emergency procedures. In addition, we have developed transfer agreements, including emergency helicopter transport services, for patients requiring more comprehensive care at a Level I or Level II trauma center. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health.
