Job Overview

FedEx Canada is seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Cargo Handler in the Kenora location. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, scanning and sorting packages within our facility.

About the Job

This part-time position requires candidates to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM onwards. The successful candidate must have a valid full driver's license and a clean driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently
• Scanning and sorting packages within the facility
• Transporting freight within and between facilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 pounds with proper equipment
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Valid full driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $55,000, based on industry standards for similar roles in the Kenora area. FedEx Canada offers competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement.
