Responsibilities:

• Supervise the maintenance garage operations, providing leadership for all Omni Technicians.
• Conduct maintenance and repair work on Class 8 diesel vehicles, including preventive maintenance, brake repairs, and DOT inspections.
• Operate a service truck to assist company drivers by addressing breakdowns on-site.
• Collaborate with the fleet team to identify maintenance needs, ensuring all equipment complies with DOT safety standards.
• Follow and enforce all workplace safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Skilled in using diesel electronic diagnostic software.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Have 8-10 years of experience maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Must pass a DOT physical examination.
• 1-3 years of experience as a lead technician.
• 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Welding skills are an advantage.
• Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
• Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office programs.
• Capable of working in various weather conditions.
