We are actively seeking an Human Resources Manager with a proven track record of success in a manufacturing and /or automotive setting, responsible for crafting and executing our corporate HR strategy including, with responsibility for:


  • employee recruitment and retention tactics, including managing online poster placement, reviewing and vetting applicants, ensure interview tests are conducted and documented, setting up partnerships with skills trades programs/institutions as talent pools for recruitment.
  • offer letter creation,
  • coordinating and conducting interviews (entry and exit),
  • administration and tracking of new hire training as well as ongoing job-specific and safety training,
  • creation of complete employee files,
  • coordinate offboarding with IT, HR new hire orientation,
  • administering and driving compliance with Company policies,
  • timely payroll entry,
  • attendance scanning activation/deactivation, and
  • corporate compliance with Provincial Employment legislations.


The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in skills trades related industries, ideally manufacturing environment and or automotive
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
