We are looking for a talented and motivated Menswear Design Assistant to support our design team in the development of our menswear collection. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about fashion design, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to advance their career in the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist the senior designer in creating and developing seasonal menswear designs and collections.

Conduct research on current market trends, fabrics, and materials to inform design decisions.

Create technical drawings, sketches, and illustrations to communicate design concepts.

Create size charts & tech packs.

Collaborate with manufacturers to develop samples and pre-production garments.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.

Participate in fittings, photo shoots, and other design-related events.

Manage and organize fabric swatches, samples, and other design materials.

Provide general administrative support to the design team as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

Strong understanding of menswear design principles and trends.

Strong technical understanding of sizing and grading.

Strong understanding of correct garment fitting.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.

Excellent sketching and illustration skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Previous experience or internships in menswear design is a plus.
