Job Title: Project Coordinator | Operations

Job Location: Mount Brydges, ON (30 minutes from London, ON)

Compensation: $53,000-$57,000 per year (or to be negotiated)

Industry: Construction

Schedule: Monday to Friday; Day Shift (flexible start/end times) 100% on site

Job Type: Full-time permanent


Our client, a leading manufacturer of prefabricated wall systems is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator on the Operations team to join our their growing company. This key role ensures the seamless functioning of critical operational processes, including inventory control, payroll, shipping, compliance, and purchasing. Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with the production team to forecast material requirements.

Payroll Administration:

  • Collect, verify, and process employee timesheets and ensure accurate payroll submissions.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and ensure compliance with labor laws.

Shipping and Logistics:

  • Coordinate the scheduling, documentation, and dispatch of shipments to clients.
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any shipping issues.
  • Maintain shipping records and optimize logistics processes for cost efficiency.

Compliance Management:

  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry codes.
  • Support compliance audits and maintain accurate documentation for internal and external review.
  • Train staff on relevant compliance protocols and best practices.

Purchasing and Procurement:

  • Issue and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

General Operations Support:

  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide support in resolving day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Generate reports on inventory, payroll, purchasing, and other operational metrics.


Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years in a project coordinator, administration, operations, or related role
  • Must have construction industry experience.
  • Post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Must be a pro at multi-tasking, crazy organized, and an MS Excel master.
  • Tech savvy – you love computers and computers love you!
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and shipping procedures is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards in manufacturing is an asset.
