Civil Estimator – Kelowna
On behalf of our client, a well-established and respected Civil Contractor with some amazing projects on the horizon, we are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator with strong Heavy Civil project exposure
The Ideal candidate has experience producing estimates for a wide range of complex and unique heavy civil competitive tenders.

What You’ll Do:
- Produce estimates for a wide range of complex and unique heavy civil competitive tenders
- Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
- Calculates complete takeoff of scopes of work, including material quantity requirements from engineering drawings based on first principles estimating.
- Assists in review of final estimate to ensure alignment with project schedule and cost goals.
What We’re Looking for:
- At least 5+ years previous experience working in civil construction
- A University Degree, College Diploma or certificate in Engineering or Construction Management. Or a combination of education and industry experience.
- Construction knowledge – overall understanding of construction processes, sequencing and planning concepts
- A comprehensive understanding of the bid process cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, where collaboration is the key to success.
