Title: Technical Trainer

Contract role: 4 + months

Location onsite: Dow Fort Saskatchewan, AB

Shift Schedule: 6 am – 3:30 pm (9/80)

Job description:

• Administers Orientations and badging for Alberta Operations, focusing on Life Critical Standards and site Expectations.
• Facilitates Equipment training, Forklift, Mobile Equipment Work Platform
• Provides Fall Prevention training/demo, Resp Fit and EarFit testing
• Conducts AOP (Authorized Operating Procedure) training
• Monitors the effectiveness of training programs and assists with updating training materials.
• Assists with other site trainings, including room setup, training materials, and people logistics.
• Assists with training materials inventory and replenishment.
• Co-facilitates training sessions where necessary.
• Dow site experience is an asset.
• Equipment trainer qualifications would be an asset, but we will qualify the right candidate.
• Experience with MS Office Suite
