Primary Function:
ChristianaCare is seeking a Full-Time Program Manager to provide oversight, evaluation and administrative support to the programmatic areas and research projects of the Harrington Trust. This position is Grant Funded by The Harrington Trust which was established to advance scholarship and support innovative projects that help reduce health care disparities for underserved and disadvantaged populations throughout our area.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
With limited supervision, manage department's Harrington portfolio of research and programs.
Translate leadership decisions into action ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Use a grass roots approach to foster collaboration and cooperation between Internal and external stakeholders.
Lead Harrington administrative activities including health disparities research, workforce diversity and equity activities.
Maintain working knowledge of ChristianaCare's research finance, regulatory and compliance policies.
Serve as the subject content expert and point person for all Harrington research, programs, and partnerships.
Cultivate, implement, evaluate, and maintain partnerships and collaborative opportunities.
Coordinate, prepare and communicate project and program related information, status reports and changes to iREACH leadership, partners, and appropriate departments.
Work closely with the iREACH finance/operations team on pre and post award activities including account setup, monitoring of all project budgets, and compliance.
This position requires frequent interaction with departments within, as well as outside community agencies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Health Sciences, Healthcare Management, or other related field preferred, Bachelor's degree required.
Strong connection with Delaware communities and grassroots coordination.
Health disparities research, workforce diversity, or health equity experience preferred.
Experience with NIH and other federal, private, or nonprofit funding agencies and foundations.
