Gastroenterologist Physician Locums Job in Texas Coverage Starts in Late December 2024 Ongoing

Dates: December - December + ongoing dates TBD, possible need up to 1 week per month

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a hospital system in south Texas that needs weekend call coverage at the end of this month.

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Texas license and Texas DEA required
Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist
Will be covering two hospitals about 15 minutes from each other
400+ bed hospital, level 1 trauma center
200+ bed hospital, level 4 trauma center
24-hour call only
Bread & Butter Scopes
100% inpatient which includes rounding, procedures, and call
Emergency privileges will be available
No advanced procedures required
Cerner EMR
15+ procedures per day
50+ patients/consults per day
