Pediatrics NP/PA Locums Job in South Carolina ASAP start and Ongoing Assignment
Coverage Needed:
- Urgent coverage needed for a Pediatric Hospitalist MD or APP
- Will need additional coverage through March, dates TBD
- 1/13 7am 1/20 7am
- 1/27 7am 2/3 7am
Assignment Details/Requirements:
- 14 (24 hour) shifts a month
- Shifts are 8am 5pm, in-house with call from home after 5pm (within 30 min)
- BC in Pediatrics with 5 years of experience
- Active South Carolina license or FCVS
- Must be comfortable with patients 32 weeks and resuscitation, CPAP, peripheral IVs, ART sticks, managing ventilators, administering pulmonary surfactant, umbilical lines, catheters, and other sick baby related procedures. Circumcision experience preferred for APPs
- The qualified Pediatrician will attend high risk deliveries and develop a plan of care for each infant while collaborating with physicians via Telehealth technology
- Inpatient coverage - Level I/II Nursery (ADC 1-2)
- Peds Consults to ER as requested
