Position Summary:
The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Human Resources Analytics & Reporting function. This role involves generating insights through data analysis, developing advanced reports, and maintaining data integrity within HR systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at both technical problem-solving and providing actionable recommendations to inform decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address standard assignments related to Human Resources Analytics & Reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Recommend and implement alternate strategies to provide management with well-rounded options for decision-making under various scenarios.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and management to execute assignments and projects effectively.
- Serve as a representative of the HR Analytics & Reporting team on cross-functional project teams as needed.
- Design, maintain, and generate reports/queries using advanced reporting tools, including calculated fields, matrix reports, and composite reports.
- Ensure data integrity within HR systems by running and analyzing queries to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Update and maintain business processes, workflows, and condition rules to enhance system functionality.
- Prepare comprehensive project dashboards and status reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least five (5) years of experience on an HRIS team or equivalent Oracle consulting role.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in HR Analytics & Reporting.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Oracle suite applications (Taleo & PeopleSoft).
- Expert-level proficiency in Tableau and SQL query development.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical methods such as predictive analytics, regression analysis, ROI, and trending.
- Proficiency with data extraction from HRIS systems and advanced Excel functions.
Additional Skills:
- Strong business analysis and process engineering skills, with a focus on requirements gathering.
- Ability to create and present executive-level summaries, data-driven recommendations, and insights.
- Basic understanding of Human Resources functions and practices.
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating discretion and sound judgment in completing assignments.
