Role : Environmental Health and Safety
Location : Plymouth, MN – 55442/100% Onsite
Duration : 6 Months with possible extension
Job Description:
Provides employee training, plant inspections, hazard evaluations and standards promalgation to meet the needs of the organization.
Responsible for the industrial hygiene program, develop, update and conduct regulatory required training.
Update the Respiratory Protection Program, Update lock/out tagout program, update hazard communication program, assist with EHS committees, day to day assistance with health and safety issues.
1-3 years’ experience in EHS; Continuous improvement, quality, strong auditing backgrounds okay
A health and safety resource is needed to support the R&D/Operations of the Plymouth, MN location.
Specific work will include Technical Standard Management, Audit Prep, EHS Training, Job Safety Analysis, Equipment Safety Assessments, physical site safety preparation, and general safety and environmental program support to the Plymouth Site EHS Team
Strong communication skills required (written and verbal)
BS in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science is required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, 2-year Technical Degree okay; Technician position, master’s degree overqualified
Understanding operations – manufacturing highly preferred
MS Suite, Documentation and Audit experience required
Some level of EHS background experience required
