Support staff are direct care professionals responsible for client care and they report directly to the Support Staff Supervisor. Support Staff will be with the clients during the day-to-day activities and programing provided by Sobrius. Support Staff will interact heavily with clients and are expected to provide role appropriate support while maintaining professional boundaries.
Professional boundaries are defined as limiting personal information shared, maintaining strictly professional relationships with clients, and avoiding friendships, romantic relationships, or other exploitations of clients. Effective Support Staff understand that their role is to support clients on their journey to recovery while avoiding personal entanglement.
