Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) invites skilled and passionate Occupational Therapists to join our mission of providing outstanding school-based services at a school for the deaf in Newark, Delaware. Responsibilities: Screen, assess, and evaluate students using appropriate tests and assessment instruments. Plan and provide specialized therapy techniques through individual and/or group sessions to meet the unique educational needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, in alignment with their Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to develop tailored IEPs. Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services. Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and implement classroom-based activities that enhance communication and learning for students. Provide consultative services and involve parents in their child’s therapy program. Partner with other teams to effectively meet the diverse needs of all students.
