A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NURSE: As a Nurse, you will provide health care services to people supported by the Charles Lea Center. The LPN/RN will also triage and take on call as needed. On call consists of triaging calls, making referrals to external providers, providing on call visits when necessary, and assisting in a medication pass for an ICF-IID home if needed. The LPN/RN will pursue the highest degree of quality care in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and internal policies and procedures. The LPN/RN provides direct and individualized nursing care to individuals based on the application of sound nursing practices while practicing within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act. The LPN/RN will participate in developing and implementation of individual's program plans, which includes any health-related training needs of people being supported and staff supporting them, and any other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS - At least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a background check upon hire.
- Valid driver's license
- Diploma or Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing with a good standing with Board of Nursing
- Excellent Time Management Skills
- Good written, verbal, and computer skills
- Good people skill especially with people supported, families, clinical staff and co-workers
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Frequent Travel within Spartanburg County
