Job Overview:
We seek a talented and creative Chef with pizza experience/background to join our flagship location in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will be a culinary leader passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences. As Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, and assist with menu planning, and people management to ensure high-quality food production and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff in food and pastry preparation
- Develop innovative and consistent menu items
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management on special events, banquets, and catering services
- Train and mentor kitchen employees on culinary techniques and best practices
- Oversee shift management for smooth kitchen operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and food presentation
- Proficiency in inventory control, cost management, and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Experience in banquet or catering services is a plus
- Bartending skills for creating beverage pairings are advantageous
- Proficiency in Restaurant 365, Paychex, and COGS
