Horses on sunset is hiring a morning prep cook! Candidates should be dedicated individuals who have a strong work ethic,
a desire to work within a team, and be open to constant learning and be looking for growth within the restaurant.
Responsibilities
• Set up and prepare assigned station.
• Recreate recipes/dishes as provided by the CDC and Sous Chefs.
• Communicate with team regarding pars to keep prep team ahead of the needs.
• Clean, organize, and sanitize station.
• Timely execution of dishes during service.
• Organization and maintenance of storage areas, refrigerators, counters and shelves as needed.
• Strict adherence to health code guidelines.
• Assisting in the production of any task assigned by the CDC and Sous Chefs.
Requirements
• 1+ years of kitchen experience in a high-volume environment.
• Current Food Safety Handlers Card
• Able to follow instructions as a member of the team
• Reliable, hardworking, proactive & organized.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to evolving situations.
• Able to work independently, without constant supervision.
• Flexible schedule, available 4-5 nights a week, Friday and Saturdays non-negotiable.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $21.00) plus tips
