Job Description: Executive ChefÂ
Seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and uphold the exceptional standards of our seafood-focused high end- casual establishment. The ideal candidate must have unparalleled seafood experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of restaurant Chef experience in a high-volume establishment
- Valid Food Handler’s Certification
- Experience with Resy, Toast, Google Suite is preferred
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and develop new skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and resolve conflicts
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- In-depth knowledge of culinary arts, food service regulations, and kitchen and inventory management
- In-depth knowledge of COGS, Labor Health and PNL statements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily kitchen operations, including coordination with the prep team, line team, and porter team
- Manage inventories within budget constraints, ensuring proper handling and storage of food products
- Train and supervise kitchen staff according to restaurant standards
- Control food and product ordering, minimizing waste and adhering to budgetary concerns
- Ensure all food preparation and presentation meet quality standards and restaurant guidelines
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team on supply ordering, budgeting, kitchen efficiency, and staffing.
