We are currently looking for motivated, passionate, and willing to learn Pastry Cooks for our BOH team at L'ardente.
- Pastry Preparation
- Baking layer cakes, making mousses and Semifreddo, setting up components for service, making ice cream bases, chocolate tempering
- Ensure the quality, taste, and presentations of all pastries are in line with the standard set by the establishment.
- Ingredient Management
- Handle and store ingredients in a sanitary and organized manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the Pastry Sous Chef to ensure timely ordering of supplies.
- Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain consistent taste, lecture, and appearances of pastries.
- Adjust recipes or methods to achieve desired outcomes and taste under the Direction of the Pastry Sous Chef.
- Adherence to Health and Safety Standard
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Properly handle and store food to prevent spoilage and contamination.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with the pasty culinary team to ensure desserts menus and specials are being executed.
- Communicate effective with Pastry Team to ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Qualification and Skills
- Willingness to learn pastry techniques, and skills.
- Knowledge of Common Kitchen Practices
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Creativity and passion for pastries and dessert.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
