What's the role?

Our Client Accounting Services (CAS) Managers are a key part of the CAS team working with clients to provide support for bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks always ensuring compliance with GAAP and related tax rules and regulations. This includes:

n- Providing full charge bookkeeping services to multiple clients using QuickBooks.
n- Processing payrolls including direct deposits and generating monthly/quarterly/year end statements.
n- Providing QuickBooks support and consulting including training clients on managing their records in QB on an as-needed basis.
n- Supporting client by providing catch up of the year's financial activity in order to produce tax return.
n- Managing a book of business and delegating work to other CAS team members.

What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
n
n- Knowledge of generally accepted principles of accounting.
n- Intermediate to advanced skills in QuickBooks software.
n- Two year Associate Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent level of bookkeeping experience.
n- Accounting/bookkeeping experience in a business or CPA firm setting. Experience managing multiple clients highly desired.
n- Comfortable working daily in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
n- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n- Oral and written communication skills to support building client relationships.

What will my schedule look like?
n
This role supports our office hours of Monday-Friday 8a-5p with a steady 40 hours per week. Generally overtime is not expected except during January and February when the CAS team works about 50 hours per week for year end. Unlimited overtime is available January-March and May-September the office closes at noon on Fridays for summer hours. We also welcome part time team members!
