This is an opportunity to work as part of the operations team in a safe, productive, and fun environment.nnPosition DescriptionnnThe Mechanic is a full-time, hourly status classification. This position diagnoses, adjusts, repairs, fabricates, and/or overhauls mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts, equipment/vehicles. Prefer candidates with excellent welding and fabricating experience. Travel is required.nnEssential Skills & KnowledgennRepair and replace damaged or worn partsnnOperate and inspect machines or heavy equipment in order to diagnose defectsnnDiagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devicesnnDismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand toolsnnClean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehiclesnnExamine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gaugesnnSchedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment and keep equipment service recordsnnRead and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawingsnnWeld or solder broken parts and structural members using electric or gas welders and soldering toolsnnFabricate needed parts or items as requirednnPerforms other related duties as required and assignednnBenefitsnnTurner Staffing Group offers a competitive salary, an excellent work culture, career advancement opportunities.
