Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Hampton, NH Job Type: Fulltime Position Summary Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to help deliver projects in the renewable natural gas and wastewater treatment markets. This person will be responsible for coordinating the execution of capital sales projects and all the day to day activities of project execution.
Responsibilities - Facilitate the design/delivery of waste water and biogas treatment plants using various technologies and techniques. This includes reviewing P&IDs, equipment submittals, equipment and instrument lists, and control philosophy documentation
- Manage the technical aspects of the procurement process and work with the purchasing team to ensure suppliers meet the needs of the needs of the project
- Manage the relationship with the clients and all project stakeholders
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and measure performance along the life of a project
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost
- Establishing commissioning schedules of biogas treatment systems
- Ability to travel to vendors and customer sites no more than 20% of the time
- Work with third party vendors to specify and order process equipment, chemicals, and parts
- Providing support to the Sales department as needed
- Providing technical training at the request of internal departments and/or external parties
- Maintain safe working practices while on customer sites
- In-depth command of a number of knowledge areas/technologies/techniques
- Responsibility for implementation of and compliance with applicable US design standards
- Responsibility (at department level) for the implementation of and compliance with the QHSE policy
- Education requirements/skills/competencies
- B.S. of Engineering Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, Electrical etc. Other
- technical backgrounds to be considered
- Relevant practical experience (5 years minimum)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project (or other)
- Experience in water and gas treatment preferred
- Familiarity with US design standards for the RNG Market
- Knowledge of relevant Safety Directives
- Great communication skills. Language skills: written and spoken English
