Responsibilities Radiology Technologist Operates x-ray equipment, prepares x-ray room, equipment, supplies. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Utilize knowledge of screening and diagnostic procedures, in order to produce optimal images. Perform other duties in the department as required.
Responsibilities: - Selects and operates radiographic and support equipment, manually selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
- Performs routine diagnostic x-ray procedures.
- Using film makers correctly and consistently.
- Assists physicians in performance of examinations.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness.
- Performs a variety of related clerical tasks as necessary.
- Rotates within the department or areas of the department.
- Adheres to prescribed standards for Radiation Safety.
Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology
- ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required;
- BLS certification required
- Maintains the recommended CME by the ARRT
Pay Range USD $39.90 - USD $52.50 /Hr.
