We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Middleware Engineer to join our Technology Services Group (TSG) - Application Infrastructure Management Enterprise Messaging team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL and Pittsburgh, PA , and will work a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required).  Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

    n
  • Will be responsible for Architecture, Development and Support
  • n
  • Will be responsible for production implementations and application support and create architecture and design documentation
  • n
  • Administration of alerting platform and working with Project Managers and Business partners on requirements
  • n
  • The candidate is responsible for the functional design and architecture of application, translates user requirements to process and data requirements, construct program flow charts and work with offshore team to implement and support designs. The candidate will also work to resolve system problems.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

n
    n
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 7-9 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • n
  • Able to lead, influence, negotiate, facilitate interaction with other technical groups
  • n
  • 4+ years on Java/J2EE and enterprise Application development
  • n
  • Experience with Cloud, Kubernetes, Kubernetes API.
  • n
  • Experience with creating and using RESTful API's.
  • n
  • Experience with Security Frameworks, Linux Scripting, Python.
  • n
  • Messaging (i.e. IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise) Knowledge is good to have.
