Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.nnResponsibilitiesnnOperate a scanner to obtain images used to diagnose and treat of pathologies.nnPrepare and position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.nnPerform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.nnEnter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develop film in an automatic processor.nnFollow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.nnEnsure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).nnEnsure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.nnAssist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.nnRequirementsnnLicensure / Certification / Registration:nnBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.nnOne or more of the following required:nnNuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must pass the Magnetic Resonance (MR) boards through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 month of hire/transfer date.nnRadiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.nnMedical Sonographer specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
