Global Technology offersnnits customers a set of data center solutions that afforded greater convenience andnnaccessibility.The Senior Software Engineer role will be a part of the Global Product Engineeringnnteam at Iron Mountain.nnThe Senior Software Engineer position is in the Global Product Engineering organizationnnassigned to the InSight project. Iron Mountain InSight is a content services platform that providesnnactionable business insights and predictive analytics through Machine Learning (ML)-basednnclassification of a company’s physical and digital information, which adds structure, context andnnmeta-data to information to make it more usable. The resulting enriched content can then enablennenhanced automated governance and workflows for our customers.nnThe Senior Software Engineer will work across full stack, providing design and delivery of highlynnscalable solutions within the agile development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be annnexperienced engineer with micro service development for cloud-based services in highlynnperformant systems. The candidate has over 7 years of experience developing service interfacesnnand APIs. To be successful, the candidate needs to show experience with Python and Java corennbackend application development and SQL databases (SQL Server or Oracle or Postgresql ornnMySQL). The candidate must have experience exposing these backend systems over RESTfulnnAPIs, microservices, event driven architecture and framework which interact with cloud servicennproviders. The candidate should have extensive development experience with python, docker andnnlinux shell scripting.nnResponsibilities:nn? Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider the tradeoffsnnto support business value, scalability and delivery timeline.nn? Develop service functionality using microservices APIs and JSON formatnn? Define service contract APIs for integrationnn? API to API integrationsnn? Integrate Machine learning components in micro servicesnn? Work with infrastructure teams to implement and build scalable systemsnn? Develop services for needs of UI developersnn? Develop unit tests with a test driven mindsetnn? Debug and address performance issuesnn? Design and code for security considerations, anticipates security risksnn? Peer / code reviewsnn? Lead the development of a product featurennQualifications:nn? Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills with a track record of deliveringnnproduction grade systems in a team environmentnn? Experience as a team lead working with 3-5 engineersnn? Motivated individual who learns quickly, has pride in building a new product and can engagennothers to accelerate technical solutionsnn? Familiarity with implementation design patterns and performance challengesnn? Minimum Bachelor’s degreenn? Experience in working with distributed teamsnn? 3 years of experience working with agile scrum methodologiesnn? 7-10 years of development experience in python and or Java, docker, shell scripting in linux,nnand SQL developmentnn? HTML/CSS, Javascriptnn? Angular or Reactnn? 3-5 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure in storage, compute andnnkubernetes servicesnn? Experience in developing and deploying AIML scalable micro services and API gatewaysnn? Experience with server oriented architectures and web platform applications with ability tonndefine and integrate with APIs and REST servicesnn? Architectural governance and security review experiencenn? Experience with agile tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Rally, TFS or Version Onenn?
