10207 – Software Engineer III (SIEBEL), IrvinennPurpose:nnThis role is responsible for the development, maintenance, support, and operations of the Siebel software applications. This individual will have specific responsibilities to support the analysis, design, development, testing, and operations of the Call Center systems, as well as support the administration of the established issue and incident management program. Assess operational and system requirements, ensure technical feasibility, estimate implementation effort, and determine the best sequence of steps. This is a tech hands-on delivery role.nnEssential Functions:nnPrepare technical design and develop product features using Siebel Tools/Open UI and Oracle Database related technologies.nnMaintain the Siebel implementation process by coordinating business personnel and cross functional teams’ personnel to assure successful implementations of Siebel applications.nnDevelop implementation plans, issue lists, status reports and other written documents in accordance with the recommended methodology.nnProduce clean, unit-tested, and refactored code when required.nnActively analyze and troubleshoot any issues that arise in production and design and develop solutions to fix the reported defects and stabilize the new products into Production.nnAnalyze and report the production issue and ticket trend and provide recommendations.nnAnalyze current technology utilized and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.nnProduction issue triage and tracking, troubleshooting activities, ticket creation and maintenance, ticket assignments, as well as vendor follow-up.nnWorking with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders to satisfy customer requests and provide resolution strategies for incoming issues.nnIdentify root causes of technical issues in production and out of box failures and come up with the RCA document. Coordinate root cause analysis, problem management, and facilitation of recurring problem management meetings with management stakeholders, trend analysis, and strategic resolution.nnMaintain knowledge and technical expertise of current production system, best practices tools and techniques and implement them in a reasonable and responsible manner.nnIdentify issues and risks as they relate to the Issue/Incident Management program and take escalation actions as necessary.nnAdditionally, this individual will need to be available according to a shared coverage schedule (i.e. 24 x 7) for addressing P1 and P2 (Emergency) incidents as needed.nnInteract with project teams for new products development giving insights from technical issues of previous products.nnPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.nnBasic Requirements:nnBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.nn6-8 years of experience in Siebel Development, Configuration and IntegrationnnSiebel IP23 Development, Configuration and Admin 1-2 years’ work experience within 6-8 years of overall Siebel development experiencennStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts.nnProficient in deploying applications on J2EE Web/Application servers like JBoss, WebLogic and Tomcat preferred.nnProduction incident and issue management experience with strong problem solving and root cause analysis background is required.nnExperience working on complex technical projects in a multi-vendor project environment.nnExperienced in coordinating with other stakeholders and getting the job done.nnSelf-driven in completing the task with less/no supervision.nnFlexible in working mode between development and support applications.nnAbility to work as a team and display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.nnAble to multi-task and maintain composure.nnGood Documentation and Communication skills.nnKnowledge or work experience on SaaS platform like AWS, MS Azure, Salesforce clouds.nnNice to have:nnExperience in Automotive Industry handling Call Center I.T. needs.nnOracle Siebel 8.0 Consultant Expert certificationnnAPI Knowledge of other off platforms like JavaScript, React or Node JS, AWS would be advantageous.nnExperience with technologies supporting SaaS applications including XML Web Services HTML.nnSalesforce Certifications, Eg: Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Certified Salesforce Developer, etc., would be advantageous.nnPlatform & data migration project experience from legacy system like Siebel to Salesforce cloud.nnSalary Range - $91,810 to $131,285nnPowered by JazzHR
