All while understanding that together we are even better.nnSchedule: Full Time 11:30 AM - 8:00 PMnnLocation: 100 HOSPITAL DR, Hendersonville, 28792nnThe role you’ll contribute:nnResponsible for performing radiology exams and documenting proper charges in two modalities.nnThe value you’ll bring to the team:nnInstructs and prepares patients for x-ray and/or other examinations.nnPerforms routine and special radiographic examinations and is cross-trained in a least one other modality.nnResponsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.nnAble to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure- makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.nnPerforms all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.nnPractices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.nnAssists in maintaining basic records, files, and reports.nnAssists in training of students and ancillary personnel.nnTakes call as assigned.nnProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient, including pediatric, geriatric and general population.nnQualificationsnnThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:nnGraduate of an accredited 2-year Allied Health program required.nnRegistered in ARRT or specific modality required.nnCurrent American Heart Association BLS Certification RequirednnThis facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
