Overview
Do you have a passion for laundry and making sure our linens are clean and crisp and ready for our guests. We are looking for a qualified Laundry Attendant who will handle the proper washing, drying and storage of laundry to keep the linens up to HRRC's high standard of quality. We want you on our TEAM! Position is full time am shift , must have weekend and holiday availability.
  • Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering.
  • Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area
  • Maintain stock levels.
  • Ensure soiled and damaged linen is stored in soiled bags and disposed of correctly.
  • Maintain linen room and ensure floors are stocked with the correct amount of each linen items.
  • Ensure chemicals are used and stored correctly.
  • Report maintenance and hazard issues
  • Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Perform additional laundry services, as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by Manager.
Qualifications
  • Previous Housekeeping and/or Laundry experience required. Preference given to previous hotel experience.
  • Ability to operate a commercial washer extractor, ironer, dryers, folders along with other laundry equipment.
  • Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 75 lbs. (NOTE: housekeeping supplies and laundry).
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests & co-workers.
  • Ability to work on your own with limited supervision but can stay on task to complete required duties.

Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $13.00/Hr. - $14.75/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
