All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. The primary objective of this position is to perform electrical /maintenance processes through the proper installation, repair and preventative maintenance of plant equipment.nnWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGnnSafely perform simple to complex electrical repairs and installs within a manufacturing setting.nnUnderstand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to assure that environment, health and safety are the first priority of the business. Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility, and assist the department as needed to improve EHS performance and results.nnResponsible for planning jobs as needed.nnResponsible for electrical design and installation.nnDocuments new and existing electrical installations as needed.nnRepairs critical equipment with available parts.nnInstalls, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment.nnTroubleshoots and repairs PLC and HMI systems.nnEnsures compliance with internal control procedures, unwarranted deviations from established standards, and violations of policy or law.nnAbility to work independently, self-starter, yet able to participate within a team environment.nnAbility to operate equipment effectively.nnMust be able to complete required training.nnMust be able to communicate to multiple levels within the organization.nnMust keep all company property in good working order and clean.nnMust understand equipment functions and processes of the primary areas.nnWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORnnRequired Education: Associate's degree in the electrical or electronics field, or 5+ years of equivalent training or experience.nnRequired Work Experience: 5+ yearsnnRequired License: Current electrical journeymannnAdditional Requirements:nnWorking knowledge of PLC programming, experience with CTI 505 and Allen-Bradley PLCs is preferred.nnKnowledge of HMI programming is preferred.nnElectrical and mechanical skills are required.nnGood communication skills, both written and oral.nnDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
