Sharkey's Cuts for Kids in Livonia is looking to hire hair stylists for our location located next to the Meijer on Middlebelt. If you are someone who enjoys interacting with kids and parents, has a friendly nature, a positive attitude, and will actively greet and engage guests in conversation, you may be a perfect fit for a Sharkey's Hair Stylist position!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hair Stylist must have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our client children and parents. Ability to listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction. Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, and styling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
* Ensure all treatments meet high quality standards.
* Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends.
* Maintain cleanliness of salon.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere.
* Ability to work with kids.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current Cosmetology license for the State of Michigan.
* Minimum one year experience.
* Able to work weekends.

COMPENSATION:

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
