Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.nnESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:nn• Reads blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirementsnn• Installs insulated metal panels and uninsulated metal panelsnn• Installs rolled insulation as the panels are installednn• Installs metal screw down and standing seam roof panelsnn• Installs trim, flashings, and sealants in a good workman like mannernn• Typical installation is on pre-engineered metal buildings and industrial structural steel buildingsnn• Connects pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, or using screwsnn• Takes measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needednn• Measure, cut, shape, and install metal components in a good workman like mannernn• Install purlins, girts, bridging and framed openingsnn• Assists other craft workers as needed or assignednn• Inspects work sites for obstructions or holes that could cause structural weaknessnn• Checks work and repairs or corrects any faultsnn• Takes personal responsibility for fostering a safe workplace by following safety policies and proceduresnnKNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:nn• Experience with Insulated Metal Panels preferrednn• Knowledge of proper rigging techniques for the materials involvednn• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and constructionnn• Knowledge of basic mathematics and its applicationnn• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings, or other industrial structuresnn• Knowledge of GMP for food manufacturing environmentsnn• Skill in the standard use of tools and equipment of the professionnn• Ability to work successfully as a team and independently with moderate supervisionnn• Ability to understand and follow directionsnn• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formnn• Ability to visualize a layout by looking at plans and printsnnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:nn• Coordinate eye-hand movements with control and precisionnn• Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlnn• Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures; and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction)nn• Familiar and comfortable with working from scissors lifts and boom lifts at great heightsnn• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 poundsnn• Stoop, lay, bend or squat for long periods of timennOTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:nn• Travel will be required.
