LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client on the east side of Columbus. This position will start on a contract basis with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. The main responsibility of this role is to manage client billing through portals, ensuring all issues are resolved for smooth payment processing. This opportunity will sit onsite to help support the accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Work extensively with client portals to ensure all necessary documentation and information are provided and up-to-date.
- Utilize client portals to communicate effectively with clients regarding any discrepancies, missing information, or additional requirements.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices and payments to ensure timely collections.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in using client portals and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
